The Wadhwa residence has underwent a  refurbishment that involves extending and adding a floor, as well as expanding the basement and other areas. To accomplish such a project, it is crucial to have both architectural expertise and a focus on maintaining the building's structural integrity. MSAP Architects, in collaboration with its consultants, has successfully achieved a functional and aesthetically pleasing refurbishment of the residence.

One of the notable features of the refurbishment is the incorporation of a green court, which allows natural sunlight to enter various spaces. This design element creates natural light shafts that provide much-needed relief to the extended space and result in an unmatched experience for residents and visitors alike.

The building is now a twin duplex unit for the Rathee brothers with the basement allowing a sunken court to cater to the air and ventilation at the lower levels. A double height entry and use of terracotta tiles creates an aesthetically magnificent building with a warm and welcoming character.
